Ropie Faints During Filming, Believed To Be Heat Stroke
Actor and popular comedian Ropie was reported to have suddenly fainted while filming outdoors at the Selangor State Secretariat Building (SUK) on Friday.
The matter was shared by actor Zalif Sidek through a post on Instagram, informing that the incident occurred unexpectedly while they were in the middle of a filming session.
According to Zalif, Ropie collapsed and lost consciousness without any warning signs while at the location.
“Something we never expected.
“Yesterday, while filming outdoors at the Selangor SUK Building, suddenly our friend and brother, Ropie, fell and fainted unexpectedly.
“Luckily, Jasper Supayah was nearby at the time. The condition is believed to have been caused by heat stroke, compounded by the current hazy weather. Allahuakbar,” he said in the post.
Zalif said the incident caused a panicked atmosphere among the production crew and actors at the filming location.
He said the situation, which had initially been proceeding normally, turned into a tense moment when Ropie suddenly collapsed.
“In the blink of an eye, the usual filming atmosphere turned chaotic. We could only pray that Ropie would be granted good health and that all matters would be made easy for him,” he said.
A check in the comments section found many fellow artists and netizens expressing concern, as well as offering prayers for the comedian to recover quickly and return to good health.
