A jewelry store in a mall near here in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, was the victim of a masked robbery that was carried out at gunpoint.
At around 5 o’clock on Saturday, March 22, a man in a sweatshirt and face mask threatened workers with a pistol before getting away in a car while clutching valuable jewels.
The store had one client and three workers on staff when the incident occurred.
When Bernama contacted Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Shahrulnizam Jaafar, Jaafar confirmed the occurrence.
