KUALA LUMPUR: The Finance Ministry has clarified that it did not send any WhatsApp messages about a salary increase for civil servants on July 25, calling such claims false. In a statement posted on its social media platforms, the ministry urged the public to be cautious and avoid falling for misinformation. “For the latest verified updates, refer to the Finance Ministry’s official website and social media channels,” the statement advised.
