Azman Abidin committed in bringing infrastructure issues of Kampong Baru, Sri Gading to the Prime Minister’s attention

SRI GADING: Datuk Azman Abidin, the political secretary to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, conducted a site visit to Kampong Baru, Mukim 8, Sri Gading this morning.

During his three-day working visit to Johor, Datuk Azman Abidin was present to represent the Prime Minister, meeting with local community leaders to observe the problems faced by residents and to understand their concerns firsthand. Kampong Baru Sri Gading was selected for this visit due to the severe infrastructure damage caused by the major flood that struck the Batu Pahat district last year.

Accompanied by his staff, Datuk Azman visited the damaged futsal court, the dilapidated KRT (Neighborhood Watch) building, and the main access road to the village, all of which were affected by the natural disaster. Datuk Azman is committed to bringing these issues to the attention of the Prime Minister and to seeking approval for funding to repair the futsal court and provide a container to be used as a KRT control post in Kampong Baru.

Also present accompanying Datuk Azman this morning were the Chief of the KEADILAN Sri Gading Branch, Naquib Roseli, Deputy Chairman of the KEADILAN Johor MPN, Md Ysahruddin Kusni, Mazlan Abdullah, the Chief of KEADILAN Kampong Baru Branch and Chairman of KRT Kampong Baru, Razman Subari, a representative of the Kampong Baru Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK), as well as representatives of the residents and community of Kampong Baru.
