PETALING JAYA: Selangor FC will field their strongest line-up in tomorrow’s FA Cup semi-final second leg against Kuching City FC as the Red Giants aim to secure a place in the final.

However, Selangor FC head coach Kim Pan Gon acknowledged that the clash at Taha Ariffin Stadium would not be an easy task, as the hosts are equally determined to reach the final, especially with home advantage.

According to Pan Gon, the Red Giants will enter the match with a strong fighting spirit, and the South Korean coach believes his players are ready to achieve their target of reaching the final.

“We know it will be a very difficult match. However, we have the spirit and determination to reach the final. The players are also highly motivated. For me, that spirit and determination are very important.

“We know how difficult the challenge ahead will be. I know this battle will not be easy, but we will continue to grow stronger. We want to reach the final,” he told reporters.

For the record, the Red Giants hold a slender advantage following their 2-1 victory in the first leg of the semi-final at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Stadium on October 23, courtesy of two goals from Eduardo Sosa.

Aidil Sharin Sahak’s side are currently enjoying strong momentum after recording a 2-0 victory over Gangwon FC in the AFC Champions League Two (ACL2) two days ago.
