Syed Saddiq Personally Delivers Wedding Invitation to Tun Mahathir and Tun Hasmah

Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman caught the public’s attention after sharing a special moment with former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Hasmah Mohd Ali.

In a post on Threads, Syed Saddiq, dressed in a purple Baju Melayu, was seen chatting warmly with Dr Mahathir, who was accompanied by Hasmah.

The meeting was held to allow Syed Saddiq to personally deliver an invitation to his wedding, which is expected to take place soon.

“Personally delivered our wedding invitation to Tun M and Tun Hasmah. The most senior special guests on the list, yet still the youngest couple at heart,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, his fiancée, actress and singer Bella Astillah, said the visit was also an opportunity to seek marriage advice from the couple, who have decades of experience in married life.

“As we’re about to embark on married life, of course we have to seek advice from the most experienced couple in Malaysia,” she said.

The post received various reactions, with many praising Syed Saddiq for showing respect towards Dr Mahathir, while also offering their prayers and well wishes for his upcoming marriage to Bella.
