DPM Zahid, Fadillah wishes Happy Father’s Day

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today wished Happy Father’s Day to all fathers.

“In conjunction with Father’s Day which is celebrated on June 16 this year, I would like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to every person with the title of bapa, ayah, abah, baba, papa, walid, abi, appa, apak, daddy or whatever title is used with full of respect and love.

“This great person just wants his family to be protected, to live happily and perfectly even if he has to sacrifice his body and soul. Just like a mother, every father’s love is unconditional, their sacrifice is limitless,” he said in a post on Facebook, Bernama reported.

Father’s Day is celebrated to appreciate the role, service and sacrifice of a father who is the protector of the family.

“May Allah SWT make us pious and pious children, always devoted to our parents, whether during their lives or after they are gone. Happy Father’s Day. Thank you Father,” said Fadillah.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi through a post on Facebook also wished Happy Father’s Day including to his late father Raden Hamidi Raden Abdul Fateh.

“For those who still have fathers, love and appreciate them while they still exist. Every moment with them is a priceless gift.

“Always pray that your father will be given good health and that his life will always be blessed. Remember that our love and attention is their greatest happiness,” he said.

In the meantime, Ahmad Zahid also invited those who have lost their fathers, to pray that their father’s soul may be washed away by God’s grace and be placed with the solihin.

“Remember that behind a mother’s love, there is a struggle of a father. Every sacrifice and their love will live on in our memories and prayers.

“Happy Father’s Day to all people who are called abah, ayah, papa, daddy, walid, abi or whatever a father is called,” he said.
