PM Anwar to Officiate MAHA 2026 Closing Ceremony Tomorrow

SERDANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the closing ceremony of the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition (MAHA) 2026 at the Malaysia Agricultural Expo Park (MAEPS) here tomorrow.

Based on the programme schedule, Anwar is expected to arrive at 10.30 am before delivering the Closing Address at Dewan D2 and performing the closing gimmick for MAHA 2026.

The programme continues with the presentation of the Agro Awards and a visit by the Prime Minister to the exhibition grounds before the ceremony ends at 12 noon.

Also expected to be present are Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and the Deputy Prime Ministers.

The 14th edition of MAHA runs for 10 days, from 28 August to 6 September.

MAHA is the country’s primary platform for the agricultural sector, bringing together industry players, government agencies, entrepreneurs, as well as research and higher education institutions to highlight innovations, technologies and business opportunities in the agrifood sector.
