RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and Qatar have reaffirmed their commitment to regional security and stability following high-level discussions between the two countries’ top diplomats on Sunday.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, to exchange views on the latest developments affecting the region.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the discussion focused on recent regional events and their potential implications, as well as ongoing efforts by both Gulf nations to promote peace, security and stability across the Middle East.
