UAE, Indonesia Reaffirm Solidarity with Qatar After Israeli Attack

DUBAI, Sept 13 (VoM): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Indonesia have reaffirmed their full support and solidarity with Qatar following last week’s Israeli attack on the Gulf state.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Abu Dhabi on Friday during the latter’s official visit to the Emirates.

According to the UAE’s state news agency WAM, the two leaders exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual concern, with particular focus on the recent Israeli attack on Qatar.

Both Sheikh Mohamed and President Prabowo strongly condemned the assault and reiterated their countries’ unwavering solidarity with Qatar.

Beyond regional security, the meeting also addressed ways to further strengthen UAE–Indonesia bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of economy, development, investment, and renewable energy.

The discussions underscore the growing partnership between the two nations amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
