Vietnam Appoints Le Hoai Trung as Acting Foreign Minister

HANOI, Aug 30 :  Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh officially appointed Le Hoai Trung as the country’s acting Minister of Foreign Affairs during a ceremony in Hanoi on Saturday, according to Xinhua, citing Vietnam News Agency.

Trung, previously serving as the chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office, has been transferred to the foreign ministry to take on his new responsibilities.

The appointment reflects the Vietnamese government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its diplomatic leadership amid regional and international engagements.
