Zaliha presents key initiatives for the Federal Territories Department
KUALA LUMPUR: The Minister at the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, presented the key initiative proposals for the Federal Territories Department to the Ministry of Finance yesterday.
According to the Wilayahku portal, she stated that it is her responsibility to ensure the well-being and harmony of the residents in the Federal Territories.
She added that she aims to make the Federal Territories a progressive and prosperous region and a leader in sustainable development.
In her effort to realize the aspirations of a Madani Malaysia, she mentioned that the Federal Territories Department will introduce five key initiatives based on the CHASE City vision.
These five initiatives under the Sejahtera@WP cluster include: Socio-Economic Restructuring & Balance, Smart and Resilient Cities, Digital Culture, Environmental Preservation & Restoration, and Tourism Sustainability.
“On the other hand, initiatives aimed at enhancing living standards will include community welfare programs such as the Program Usaha Jaya Insan (PUJI),” she said on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Zaliha noted that the presentation of the 2025 Budget is highly anticipated by all Malaysians, especially the residents of the Federal Territories.
