Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Stable After Fainting While Helping Child with Homework

SHAH ALAM: Machang Member of Parliament Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal is now in stable condition and resting in a ward at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).

According to the administrator of Wan Ahmad Fayhsal’s Facebook account, further updates on his condition will be provided.

“A million thanks to everyone for your prayers,” the administrator said on Wednesday.

Earlier, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal was rushed to HKL for emergency treatment.

The Machang MP’s office said in a statement that he had been admitted to the hospital for further treatment and was in stable condition.

According to the statement, doctors had also advised Wan Ahmad Fayhsal to rest until he makes a full recovery.

Earlier reports quoted Wan Ahmad Fayhsal as saying that the incident occurred while he was helping his child with schoolwork before losing consciousness until 6pm.

“Early this morning, while I was helping my child with school exercises, I suddenly lost consciousness and did not regain it until 6pm.

“I am now at HKL undergoing urgent medical examinations and emergency treatment. God willing, I will undergo a CT (computed tomography) scan,” he said.
