PETALING JAYA: In an announcement from the Indian High Commission to Malaysia, Malaysians would be eligible for a free 30-day eTourist visa between July 1 and June 30, 2025.

The eTourist visa with multiple entry would be free of charge, but applicants would still need to pay the required costs.

Payment of visa costs is also required for those seeking for the eMedical Attendant, eAyush, and eEmergency visas.

The current guidelines for eTourist visas and other eVisas will stay in effect.

The High Commission of India or an outsourcing contractor “will continue to collect the prescribed visa fees from those who seek normal paper visas,” the statement released on Saturday (June 29) stated.
