Routes Around Jalan U Thant To Be Closed Until January Next Year

PETALING JAYA: Several routes around Jalan U Thant will be temporarily closed starting 6 July until 31 January 2027, to make way for the implementation of pipe jacking construction works.

According to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), this involves the full closure of the exit route from Jalan U Thant to Jalan Tun Razak (near Regal House).

“The full closure of the entry route from Jalan Tun Razak to Jalan Langgak Golf (near the Iraqi Embassy).

“In addition, Jalan Langgak Golf will be made a one-way route for exit movement towards Jalan Tun Razak,” it said in a statement today.

In this regard, DBKL advises road users to use alternative routes, plan their journeys in advance, and comply with the provided signboards and traffic instructions.

“Users from Jalan Tun Razak who wish to go to Jalan U Thant, Jalan Taman U Thant, Jalan Maidge, Persiaran Ampang Hilir, and Jalan Langgak Golf should use Jalan U Thant as the entry route.

“For users from the Jalan U Thant, Jalan Taman U Thant, Jalan Maidge, Persiaran Ampang Hilir, and Jalan Langgak Golf areas who wish to go to Jalan Tun Razak, they should use Jalan Langgak Golf as the exit route,” it said.
