Police searching for those suspected of causing disturbance at PJ Stadium after Super League game

KUALA LUMPUR: The police are searching for those they believe to be responsible for the disturbance caused by football supporters at a Petaling Jaya stadium on Sunday night after a Super League game.

In a statement released today, Supt. M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly, deputy chief of Petaling Jaya District Police, stated that two widely shared videos on social media were discovered at 10.15 a.m. yesterday, demonstrating the turmoil that resulted in damage to the stadium’s admission gates and sitting area.

He stated that Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act and Section 427 of the Penal Code had prompted an investigation, and the police would keep looking for the suspects.
