ASB’s dividend payment of 5.75 sen per unit is noticeably larger than the 5.25 sen per unit paid in 2023, thereby determining the total dividend distributed to ASB unitholders since its founding to RM196.5 billion on a post on its official Facebook page.

Benefiting 11.1 million ASB unitholders, the overall income distribution for the financial year ending December 31, 2024, is RM10.1 billion.

Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda, Chairman of PNB Group, expressed satisfaction that ASB could offer its best dividend payout in five years.

“This continues the strong track record of ASNB Fixed Price Funds against their reference portfolios, in line with PNB’s goal of strengthening the financial position of the people across generations,” he remarked in a statement.

ASB bases its income distribution and bonus computation on the average minimum monthly balance maintained over the financial year of the fund.

On January 1, 2025, units reinvested from income distribution will credit unitholders’ accounts.

The ASNB offices and agents, along with all online channels and internet banking, will temporarily suspend transactions for ASB from 28 to 31 December 2024.

From 1 January 2025, unitholders can keep making transactions on all online platforms and via internet banking as well as in any ASNB branches and agents starting on 2 January 2025.
