Kuala Lumpur is getting more and more excited about Christmas. The city’s biggest shopping malls are filled with bright holiday preparations, and people are feeling lucky.

People from all walks of life, including guests from other countries, are enjoying the holiday spirit before the big event on December 25. Also, a lot of people are making last-minute plans.

A poll of three shopping malls found that there were lots of people taking advantage of sales and taking pictures with the holiday decorations.
The 35-year-old Christane Jane was seen at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and said she had to rush to get ready because she was so busy at work.

“I have been working the whole week and finally got some time to get most items for cooking next Wednesday (Dec 25), as I will be hosting two dinners this year,” she said on Saturday (Dec 21).

In the same way, Rosemary Kutty, 60, who she met at The Exchange TRX, was excited to spend Christmas with her brothers again after being apart for years.

“When our parents died, we stopped having Christmas dinners together and lived far apart.” Although, she said, “This year, my siblings are flying back to Malaysia to celebrate with us.”

Tourists from Europe and India, meanwhile, talked about how pleased Kuala Lumpur was, saying it was livelier than their own cities.

“I like how things feel here in Malaysia. When compared to London, it looks very joyful and pretty. Liesa, 23, a tourist from Europe, said, “This is even nicer.” She was at the Pavilion Shopping Mall.
At the same time, Masrifah Masrodin, 43, a teacher at SRA Selayang Baru, planned a trip to Kuala Lumpur for 80 students and seven other teachers during the school breaks.

The statement read, “Every year, we organise excursions like this, and today we brought the students to Aquaria, a chocolate factory, and the National Museum.” – Bernama
