Following an attack on a purportedly Malaysian-operated freeport in Central Luzon, Bukit Aman will work with its counterparts in the Philippines.

The freeport was home to more than 300 scam laborers from China and Malaysia.

Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf, the director of the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), has stated that Malaysian police will collaborate with Philippine authorities if necessary.

“We commend their efforts in combating and busting the scam centers, which will significantly impact scam activities,” he reported on Monday (Nov 4).
Comm. Ramli announced that upon their return to Malaysia, the Malaysian suspects will undergo further investigation.

Some people involved in human trafficking or scam activities may claim to be victims, frequently using this justification as an alibi for syndicate deception.

The police will investigate potential connections between these syndicates and others in Malaysia, according to Comm Ramli.
