Owners of Blood Types O and AB Urged to Come Forward to Donate

JOHOR BAHRU: The Transfusion Medicine Department of Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) here is appealing to owners of blood types O and AB to come forward to donate as the need for both blood types is quite high at the moment.

The department informed that members of the public who wish to donate can go to locations as announced on the Facebook page of the Johor Bahru Blood Donation Campaign Schedule.

“Blood donation campaigns are also being held at the Johor Blood Donation Centre in Mid Valley Southkey today until Sunday, starting from 10 am to 6.30 pm.

“In addition, at AEON Mall Bukit Indah today, Saturday and Sunday (10 am to 3 pm) as well as the HSA Blood Donation Centre (8 am to 4.30 pm) today and tomorrow,” according to the department via Facebook.
