Malaysia, Palestine Strengthen Higher Education Cooperation – Zambry

KUALA LUMPUR : Malaysia and Palestine will continue to strengthen their cooperation in the field of higher education, said Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.

He said the matter was discussed during a courtesy call from the Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia, Jehad Alqedra.

In a Facebook post today, he said the discussion also touched on the need to continue strengthening support for Palestinian students, while exploring opportunities for collaboration between universities in both countries.

“Malaysia has always believed that education is a bridge of hope, peace and the future.

“In that spirit, we will continue to play a role in helping the Palestinian people rebuild their national strength through knowledge and education,” he said.
