Malaysia expresses condolences on the loss of Iran’s President in helicopter crash
PETALING JAYA: Even after losing its president in a helicopter crash on Monday, Malaysia would keep collaborating with Iran for the sake of both countries’ citizens as well as the Muslim world, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim promised.

Offering his condolences for the deaths of Iran’s foreign minister Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian and president Ebrahim Raisi, who were both killed in the incident, Anwar promised to keep their promise.
He express the profound sorrow over the senseless demises of Hossein Amir, Ebrahim Raisi, and numerous other Islamic Republic of Iran officials.
“During this extremely trying moment, my deepest sympathies are extended to the Iranian people.
On his official social media mediums, Anwar wished for their souls to be blessed by Allah and asked that they be placed among the Righteous.
He continued by saying that, in November of last year, he had the privilege of meeting Raisi and praising his leadership.
“He represented a strong and rich civilization based on Islamic ideals, and he embodied a genuine dedication to the welfare of his people and the dignity of his nation.

“I found great inspiration in his commitment to justice, peace, and the advancement of the ummah.
“We pledged to strengthen ties between Malaysia and Iran in order to benefit both of our peoples as well as the Muslim world.
“We will deliver on our promise,” Anwar declared.
Along with the relatives of the deceased, the Iranian people, and everyone else impacted by the sad event, the Foreign Ministry also sent its condolences.
Malaysia “stands in solidarity with Iran in this moment of grief and offers our thoughts and prayers to the nation during this difficult time,” the statement said on Monday, May 20.
Following a poor weather-related helicopter crash in a mountainous and forested region of the country, Raisi and the other officials on board were officially declared deceased.
PAS, meantime, has sent their condolences regarding the sad event.
The party offers its condolences to their families, according to its president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang.
“PAS offers its sympathies to Raisi’s family, who lost their loved one in a helicopter crash in northern Iran this morning.
Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran’s foreign minister, is also entangled in this tragedy.
“May Raisi and Amirabdollahian be placed among His righteous martyrs and servants,” he stated
