KPKT’s affordable housing prices are not affected by diesel subsidy targeting
CYBERJAYA: The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) is committed to ensuring that the prices of affordable houses under their management are not affected following the recent diesel price adjustment.
According to Kosmo Online, its Deputy Minister, Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu said, the price of the affordable house is actually subject to the policy set by the government which is below RM300,000 per unit.
He said, for now, the price of RM300,000 per unit will remain and will not be affected by the recent increase in diesel prices.
“We take care (of the price) because it has a policy and the price has been set. In fact, we will control it directly.
“Among the affordable housing projects under the supervision of KPKT include the People’s Housing Project (PPR), the People’s Friendly House Program (RMR), residences under Syarikat Perumahan Negara Bhd (SPNB) and the PR1MA Housing Program,” he said.
He said this when met at the P113 Sepang P113 P113 Sepang KPKT and Bomba 2024 Worship Program, here today.
