PUTRAJAYA: Recently, the Ministry of the Interior (KDN) confiscated 19,924 different kinds of nasty publications, including 15,602 sex game tools valued at RM1.2 million in Printable Operations 1.0 around the country. In the FMT report, Nik Yusaimi Yussof, Secretary of the KDN Enforcement and Control Division, reported that the operation resulted in the arrest of fifty individuals, including a foreigner, for further investigation.

He stated that the printing activities involved the leakage of books, periodicals, garments, accessories, game equipment, printing machines, and various types of publishing material, all of which violated legal clauses. Sections 7(1) and 3(4) of the Printing and Publishing Machines Act 1984 declare that all the outcomes of this publication material are in conflict with the moral and socio-cultural values of the country.

“We are increasingly detecting this sales and distribution activity online, as well as selling it publicly on business premises.”

he said during a press briefing. Nik Yusaimi claims that authorities have taken 15,602 sex toy units valued at RM540,000 at several sites on Penang Island, Selangor, Johor, and Kedah. He said that China and Japan allegedly import all of the sex gadgets. According to him, authorities also seized three printing establishments in the Kembang and Klang series that appeared to be operating without a licence. “We’re also detaining three people for further investigation; the budget of the printing machine seized in this operation is worth RM600,000,” he said.
