Israel massacred 84 individuals in “brutal massacres” in Gaza, including 50 children.

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, two Israeli attacks on residential buildings in northern Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 84 Palestinians, with over 50 of them being children.

“The Israeli occupation army has carried out two devastating attacks by bombing residential buildings belonging to the Shalayel and Ghandour families in the northern Gaza Strip. The Government Media Office reported on Friday that this had impacted over 170 civilians, with 84 reported fatalities, including more than 50 children, and many others missing and injured.

It was reported that 84 individuals were considered “massacred” due to the absence of civil defense crews, medical services, or other relief efforts in the region during an Israeli siege and ongoing bombardment.

“These crimes occur as the occupying forces target civilian families in residential buildings inhabited by civilians and displaced individuals, which consist of multiple stories,” the statement said.

This is consistent with the absence of civil defense teams, medical services, or relief teams that the “Israeli” occupation has targeted and rendered ineffective for almost a month. These crimes also align with the breakdown of the health system in northern Gaza, as hospitals have been destroyed and are no longer operational,” it added.

The Shalayel and al-Ghandour families owned the structures, it stated.

The Gaza government urged the international community to fulfil its duty to safeguard civilians, stating that it holds Israel and its allies—the US, France, the UK, and Germany—accountable for the ongoing “genocide” in Gaza.

“We urge the international community and relevant organizations, including the UN, to promptly and decisively carry out their humanitarian responsibilities to protect civilians and ensure the safety of hospitals and health facilities,” the statement emphasized.

“We emphasize our call for the entry of surgical medical teams and ambulances, as well as the restoration of civil defence operations to save lives.” The targeting of these efforts is a crime against humanity, and it is regrettable that the international community remains silent on this matter,” it stated.

The entire population of Gaza is facing an immediate threat to their lives.

In the meantime, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that it was in the process of evacuating patients from al-Awda and Indonesian hospitals located in northern Gaza due to the continuing Israeli siege.

The Palestinian group reported the evacuation of 21 patients in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross, as stated on X.

The UN Inter-Agency Standing Committee has previously cautioned that the circumstances in northern Gaza are “apocalyptic.”

The statement indicated that the whole population is “at imminent risk of dying from disease, famine, and violence.”

On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a significant military operation in Gaza following a surprise attack by Hamas-led resistance groups, which was a response to the escalating violence against the Palestinian people.

To date, the occupying regime has resulted in the deaths of at least 43,259 Palestinians, primarily women and children, and has injured 101,827 others in the besieged Gaza, as per the most recent official count.

Israel has intentionally attacked structures and tents housing displaced Palestinians, constituting acts of war crimes.
