Estimates 200,000 people visited 2TM in its first two days

The 2024 National Convention on Public Service Reform and the Two Years of Madani Government Program (2TM) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) began on Friday, November 22, with over 200,000 attendees.

 

 

According to a statement from the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (Pacu), 85,217 people attended the program on Friday, which ran from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“As of 6pm, the total number of visitors today has reached 117,912, bringing the overall total to 203,129 visitors over the first two days of the program,” Pacu said in a statement on Saturday, November 23.

Reports predict that the festival, which concludes on Sunday, November 24, will draw about 230,000 attendees.

Attending the event on Saturday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stopped by a number of booths and spoke with attendees.

Anwar discussed the accomplishments and projects of the Madani government under his direction during a town hall meeting.

Highlights of the “Madani di Hati, Rakyat Disantuni” event included the Royal Malaysia Police offering discounts of up to 60% on a selection of traffic summonses, as well as helmet exchanges and the Madani Rahmah Sale, which offered necessities at a discount to the going rate. Bernama
