Engagement session on budget becomes the best forum for stakeholders, says Zaliha

KUALA LUMPUR: The Engagement Session (SLU) for the 2025 Budget for the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya has emerged as the best platform for stakeholders to present their value-added inputs.

According to the Wilayahku portal, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr. Zaliha Mustafa attended the engagement session yesterday.

She noted that the session brought together various stakeholders, including government agencies, representatives from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), private companies, the Residents’ Representative Councils (MPP), and community leaders from the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

“The Engagement Session is a continuation of the SLU for the 2025 Budget for the Federal Territory of Labuan, which was held on August 11,” she said on Facebook.

She added that the session aimed to gather input, ideas, and suggestions for the implementation of the 2025 Budget in the Federal Territories to align with the Madani Economic Framework.

Zaliha emphasized that the added value from the engagement session would facilitate the successful planning of the 2025 Budget.

Key topics discussed included entrepreneurship development, support for small traders, and youth development.

“Local community issues faced by residents of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya were also addressed.

“God willing, all the input and suggestions collected from this engagement session will form the basis for a comprehensive and inclusive 2025 Budget plan, meeting the needs of the residents in the Federal Territories,” she said.
