SEREMBAN: Pakatan Harapan (PH) leadership collectively took joint responsibility following the coalition’s defeat in the Negeri Sembilan State Election (PRN) today.

PH Election Director, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, said the defeat should not become a reason for any party to point fingers or blame any individual or particular group.

“As PH leaders, we all certainly take collective responsibility.

“This is not the time to point fingers at any individual, group or particular faction.

“Instead, we will be responsible as a collective leadership, starting from the highest level down to the grassroots level of the organisation,” he said at a press conference at the PH Operations Centre here tonight.

Amirudin said PH expressed its highest appreciation to all the people of Negeri Sembilan who have fulfilled their responsibility as voters in this Negeri Sembilan state election.

“Congratulations to the Election Commission (SPR) officers including the police, security officers, media personnel, volunteers and the PH machinery as well as every party involved in contributing to the Negeri Sembilan state election process which went very smoothly.

“According to the latest count, PH candidates are leading in 11 seats and awaiting official confirmation from the SPR.

“These 11 seats we can consider unofficial but based on our count considerations, these 11 seats are almost certain to be won by PH,” he said.
