DBKL orders repair of unsatisfactory manhole covers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has directed the involved telecommunications companies to carry out repair work on the unsatisfactory manhole covers that have gone viral.

According to the Wilayahku portal, DBKL stated that the order was issued to ensure repairs are done promptly.

“The paving work has been completed in full.

“Thank you to the public who have provided information to DBKL,” it said on Facebook.

DBKL also requested the cooperation of all parties to help maintain the sustainability of the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Previously, images of the telecommunications company’s manhole cover in unsatisfactory condition had gone viral.
