Armed Forces report an incident involving Palestinians at Wisma Transit settled without injury
Multiple Palestinian refugees were involved in an incident at Wisma Transit, but there was no serious damage or casualties.
According to a statement from the Armed Forces, the incident happened at approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, when a group of Palestinians requested that the processing of their application to return home be expedited.
Officers and staff from the Armed Forces who were on duty there had conversations with the Palestinians. The Armed Forces said in a statement on Sunday, January 5, that the issue was then settled without any disputes or injuries.
The statement also mentioned the damage to some of the building’s furniture.
At around 7 p.m., the Armed Forces reported that the issue was settled.
