He added that the police recently arrested two male suspects in Pulau Carey, Kuala Langat, Selangor, who were believed to have been on the boat during the incident.
“The General Operations Force conducted an operation around Pulau Carey recently and successfully detained a group of foreign individuals hiding there. We suspect that two of them were on the boat involved in the shooting incident,” he said at a press conference on Op Palu in conjunction with Thaipusam at Batu Caves today.
