Attack at Ulu Tiram Police Station left two cops dead and one injured

JOHOR BAHRU: At the Ulu Tiram police station early on Friday morning (May 17), an intruder attacked the cops, killing two of them and injuring another. The suspect was also fatally shot at the scene, according to Comm M. Kumar, the chief of Johor Police.
According to him, the wounded policeman was being treated at the same hospital as the remains of the deceased, which were taken to the forensic department of Hospital Sultan Ismail. He announced that investigations were still underway and Apologised for the event.
“The cops suffered gunfire and assault. When approached at the location of the incident, he stated, “More investigation is underway.”

It is anticipated that Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain will soon stop by the station.
It was previously stated that at least three persons, including two police constables, were killed in the incident. Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, Inspector-General of Police, believes the suspect in the Ulu Tiram police station attack is a member of Jemaah Islamiyah. He stated that five of the suspect’s family members had been held in order to support the inquiry. According to accounts, he sliced the constable at the station counter in the neck and head, murdering him on the spot.The suspect then stole the victim’s gun and fatally wounded another police officer who arrived to investigate the noise. According to accounts, a third officer then ran out and fatally shot the perpetrator.
