Amy Mastura is a “hajjah” now

KUALA LUMPUR: Amy Mastura, a versatile artist, recently performed the haj safely with her family.

Amy, 51, announced her new status as “hajah” on Instagram today.

Amy apologised to her followers in her post for not providing updates since embracing the fifth pillar of Islam.

“Greetings and assalamualaikum to all on this Friday. “I also take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the officers and ustaz who guided us and ensured we stayed on the right path,” she said. “Thank God, my family and I have completed the fifth pillar of Islam.”

Amy was grateful that Allah had provided them with excellent travel companions despite the difficulties they encountered.

Adriana, 23, and Adalia, 20, are Amy and Alvin Tham Suffian’s children. They were married in June 2000.
