A five-year-old girl with autism was discovered drowned in Bertam water theme park

KEPALA BATAS: Yesterday, a five-year-old autistic girl was discovered drowned at a water theme park in Bertam.

Acting Chief of Police for Seberang Perai Utara District, ACP Zulkeflee Sulaiman, stated that the victim’s mother claimed the girl vanished from view at approximately 3:30 p.m. while playing with other family members.

When Bernama reached him today, he stated, “The woman then promptly notified theme park staff to locate her daughter before the girl’s body was found shortly after in a pond that was under construction.”

According to him, the victim’s body was carried back to Selangor for burial after being claimed by her relatives and sent to Kepala Batas Hospital for a post-mortem. – BERNAMA
