AMK Gombak expresses strong support for Amirudin Shari

GOMBAK: The Gombak chapter of Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) has expressed its full and unwavering support for the leadership of Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari as the Selangor Menteri Besar and Vice President of the People’s Justice Party (PKR).

In a statement issued today, AMK Gombak Chief, Haris Harahap, described Amirudin’s stance on the entry of Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul into PKR as clear, mature, and prudent.

“AMK Gombak rejects any speculation aimed at disrupting the stability of the state administration or the harmony within the party. Amirudin’s leadership should not be questioned, as he is a reformist figure who has long contributed to the struggle since his youth,” he said.

He added that Amirudin, who currently leads the most developed state in Malaysia, has a proven track record and deserves continued trust to lead Selangor’s administration.

Haris further stated that AMK Gombak views the entry of any individual into PKR as a step towards strengthening the party’s ranks, but emphasised that it should be done thoughtfully and through consultations with fellow component parties in the Unity Government.

“Tengku Zafrul’s entry into PKR must go through the proper process, including discussions with Unity Government component parties, to preserve the harmony that has been carefully built,” he added.

He also stressed that AMK Gombak will remain a stronghold in defending the stability of the state and the party, and will continue to stand firmly behind Amirudin in advancing the reform agenda for the benefit of the people and future generations.
