KAJANG, May 29 – GV Ride continues to elevate the status of E-hailing drivers by organizing the Grand and Monthly Prize Presentation Ceremony for the “Kayuh & Menang” 2025 program, as a token of appreciation for the dedication and outstanding performance of its driver-partners since the campaign began in February.
The lively event not only featured the presentation of lucrative prizes but also symbolized the strong bond between the company and its driver community, which is regarded as the backbone of GV Ride’s success.
GV Ride Chief Executive Officer, Kabeer Maand, in his speech, expressed gratitude to all involved parties, including Member of Parliament for Hulu Langat, Mohd Sany Hamzan, the company’s management team, sponsors, and especially GV Ride drivers.
“Without all of you, GV Ride would not be where it is today,” said Kabeer, emphasizing that the drivers’ active participation and commitment are key to the company’s strong growth.
The “Kayuh & Menang” 2025 program offered a variety of attractive prizes, including a Perodua Bezza 1.3X as the grand prize, RM10,000 and RM5,000 in cash for the second and third places, as well as the latest tech devices like the Samsung S25 Ultra, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and Vivo Y39 5G.
The monthly prizes included fuel vouchers worth RM500 and RM50, as additional incentives for active drivers.
Kabeer stated that the campaign is not just a competition, but also a platform for community building and long-term value creation for GV Ride drivers.
“GV Ride is not just an e-hailing platform. It is a community. We are not only connecting passengers and drivers, but also creating opportunities to earn income, build careers, and lead better lives,” he said.
He also reaffirmed GV Ride’s commitment to continually listening to drivers’ voices and providing various support initiatives, including skill development programs and more comprehensive welfare support systems.
The event was further enlivened by the presence of Mohd Sany Hamzan, who expressed his full support for local companies like GV Ride that directly contribute to the gig economy and the creation of flexible job opportunities.
Winners were visibly thrilled to receive their prizes, but Kabeer also reminded everyone that all drivers, whether they won or not, are an essential part of GV Ride’s journey and success.
“Keep the spirit alive. Continue to give your best to customers and strive to be a role model for a more professional, efficient, and responsible e-hailing community,” he said.
