Police stop drug trade all over the Kingdom

The Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday that police arrested several people across the Kingdom for drug-related crimes. It was not possible for 352,275 amphetamine pills to get through customs when the Border Guard did land checks in the Halat Ammar sector of the Tabuk region.

Two Ethiopians were caught with 50 kg of qat in Asir’s Al-Raboah area, and four Ethiopians were caught with 120 kg of qat in another operation.

In the Al-Dayer sector of Jazan, an Ethiopian was found with 155,400 controlled tablets, and 995 kg of qat were stopped from being smuggled.

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control caught a Pakistani man in Riyadh with 6.5 kg of methamphetamine, which is known as “shabu” in the area.

In the Hail area, two people were caught with 16,132 amphetamine tablets and 7.5 kg of hashish. All items that were seized were given to the right authorities after preliminary legal processes were finished.
