Palm oil-carrying tanker truck accident early morning on the Karak Highway

An early morning accident on the Karak Highway flipped a tanker carrying palm oil onto its side.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec. 25) that the accident happened at 3 am on the highway at KM28.

He was on his way from Kelantan to Port Klang. He was 41 years old. At the scene, the lorry’s brakes weren’t working right, which is what caused the crash when the driver lost control of his car.

He said, “There were no injuries or deaths.”

A dashcam recording of the accident showed that the truck swerved and then fell over on its side.
