According to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia will continue to support Palestinians injured by Zionist violence to ensure they receive superior treatment.

However, he announced a reevaluation of the aid delivery mechanism to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.

“We are currently in the process of deliberating the necessity of providing assistance; however, it would be more feasible to transport injured Palestinians to hospitals in Arab nations, including Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Turkey, with our assistance.”

“I believe that this approach would be more effective.” Discussions regarding this matter are currently underway with the Ministry of Defense. Upon concluding his official visit to Egypt today, he informed Malaysian reporters that while the aid will continue, the mechanism may undergo modifications to enhance its cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Anwar stated that the resolutions enacted at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday included the severance of diplomatic ties with Israel and a freeze on arms sales.

He also stated that the resolutions addressed the welfare of United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.

“Israel’s inhumane actions, which violate international pressure and humanitarian considerations, persist without remorse or apologies,” he stated.
