Israeli airstrikes kill 3 more paramedics and scores of civilians in Lebanon today

Three more paramedics died in an Israeli airstrike on a Lebanon healthcare complex, the health ministry reported. On Sunday, an air raid hit the Islamic Health Authority’s civil defense team in Adloun, Sidon.

The health ministry called the regime’s targeting of paramedics a “war crime,” adding to its “violence and inhumanity” in Lebanon. On Saturday, Israel bombed multiple communities around Tyre, Lebanon, killing at least 12 paramedics and civil defense volunteers.

Three paramedics were hurt. The health ministry reported that all the victims of Saturday’s attack in Deir Qanoun Ras Al-Ain were charity volunteers. The city attacks claimed the life of a civilian and injured twelve others. The health ministry reported dozens of deaths Sunday in eastern and southern Lebanon airstrikes.

The ministry reported that an attack on Almat’s Jbeil suburb northeast of Beirut killed 20 people, including three children. Additionally, six were hurt. Minutes later, a Sidon strike killed three. Israeli airplanes bombed Mashghara in eastern Lebanon, killing three additional civilians and injuring two others.

An attack in Sohmor, western Bekaa, eastern Lebanon, killed one person. The government reported that four others sustained injuries. According to the health ministry, Israeli attacks in Lebanon since October 2023 have killed 3,136 and injured over 13,900. The victims include 619 women and 194 children.
