Religious leaders from Arab and Muslim countries will meet in Saudi Arabia to talk about the wars in Gaza and Lebanon
The Saudi Press Agency reported that on Monday, Arab and Muslim leaders will meet in Saudi Arabia for a meeting that will focus on Israel’s wars in Gaza and Lebanon.
A statement on SPA said, “The rising violence in the Palestinian and Lebanese territories, including the brutal Israeli aggression, has forced Arab and Islamic leaders to act right away.”
The summit builds on the November 11, 2023, Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh to discuss the new and dangerous events in Gaza and the rest of Palestine.
“This calls for Arab and Islamic countries to work together to face these problems and lessen their effects,” SPA said.
Along with the secretaries-general of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Palestine want to stop the war in Gaza right away and make peace last for everyone.
On Sunday, the Saudi state news station Al-Ekhbariya showed video of Naib Mikati, the prime minister of Lebanon, and Bola Tinubu, the president of Nigeria.
