Raid in Ramallah: Israeli settlers attack Palestinian homes and cars with violence and set fire to them

The occupied West Bank city of Ramallah was the site of a savage assault by hundreds of Israeli settlers.
Before advancing to the main route linking Ramallah to other cities, the settlers attacked Palestinian automobiles as they passed by, setting fire to multiple homes and vehicles.

Near Ramallah, in the city of al-Bireh, they attacked and set fire to Palestinian homes and cars.
Palestinian news outlets reported that settlers injured a woman by throwing stones at her vehicle.
The homicidal Israeli campaign in the Gaza Strip, which began in October of last year and has murdered 43,341 people (mainly children and women), has caused widespread tension in the West Bank.

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas had already warned that Israel was planning to conquer the West Bank and force Palestinians to leave before Monday’s Israeli attack.
According to Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi, the hardline Israeli authorities’ and illegal settler groups’ plans to disperse the population of Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank pose a serious threat.
Last week, Bezalel Smotrich, a minister on Israel’s far right, called for the annexation of the entire West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Smotrich said that Israel needs to affirm categorically that no Palestinian state will be established.
He brought up the idea of Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied regions, including the West Bank, again.
