KUALA LUMPUR: Renowned actor Datuk Rosyam Nor has submitted a police report at the Pudu police station following allegations that he offered negative marriage advice to fellow actor Fattah Amin prior to Fattah’s wedding to Fazura.

Upset by the slander circulating on social media, Rosyam identified several Facebook users, including an account impersonating comedian Bell Ngasri, for allegedly defaming him.

In an Instagram post featuring a brief video, Rosyam stated: “I have officially reported to the Pudu police regarding the dissemination of slanderous and humiliating accusations linking me to Fattah Amin’s divorce from Nur Fazura.”

The video also showed the 57-year-old actor presenting a copy of his police report alongside his lawyer, whom he introduced as Aizul.

Meanwhile, Bell took to Instagram to refute claims that he was behind the disputed Facebook account. “Oh no, Datuk, I’m not the owner of that Facebook account. I have no idea who is using my name. I swear I’m not lying. I don’t interfere in others’ matters, so please don’t sue me. Everyone knows I get along well with both Rosyam and Fattah,” he said.

Following Fattah’s divorce from actress Fazura on October 7, a video from Rosyam’s podcast resurfaced, discussing how a wife might begin to look down on her husband if she becomes more financially successful. However, Rosyam clarified that he did not mean to imply all women act this way, stating that it was merely a general observation.

He emphasized that the podcast session was a broad discussion and not directed at any artist facing marital difficulties at that time.
