Azman excited to see thousands of Youth Flood Dataran Merdeka

KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister’s Political Secretary, Datuk Azman Abidin, expressed his excitement at the sight of thousands of young people flooding Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, yesterday to celebrate the Merdeka Youth Fiesta 2024.

According to the Wilayahku portal, Azman noted that the thousands of youths who attended yesterday demonstrated their patriotic spirit towards their beloved country.

“The youth interested in motorsports also organized a convoy from Bandar Tun Razak directly to Dataran Merdeka to enliven the various government agency booths that had been set up,” he said on Facebook.

Azman also congratulated the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), International Youth Centre (IYC), Federal Territory Youth Council, and KL Care, as the main organizers who successfully carried out the event.

He stated that the program received an impressive response.

“God willing, I fully support organizing more activities with the youth through cooperation between the government and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to engage more closely with young people,” he added.
