Police seek public help in locating missing teen last seen in May

PETALING JAYA: Authorities are calling for assistance to find a teenage girl who has been missing since May.

According to Petaling Jaya OCPD Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Ja’afar, a report was filed about Lin Yu Cheng, 14, at around 3pm on Monday (August 5).

“She was last seen at her residence in Dataran Prima Condominium at 3:10pm on May 25,” he explained.

The missing girl is described as being 154 cm tall, weighing 42 kg, with black hair.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact the nearest police station or reach out to the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters at 03-79662222.
