KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with National Month, the Department of Information (JaPen) is organizing Pentarama X Kelab Malaysiaku with 38 schools across five states, aiming to cultivate and instill a spirit of patriotism among students.

According to Bernama, the Pentarama X Kelab Malaysiaku Squad will be visiting selected schools in Selangor, the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, and Sarawak, conducting various activities focused on patriotism with the students.

The Deputy Director-General (Strategic Communication) of JaPen, Rubaayah Osman, stated that the program is carried out in collaboration with the agency’s strategic partner, the Ministry of Education (KPM).

“It is held in schools because it is there that we can nurture the spirit of love for the country. We need to instill this spirit (of patriotism) in the younger generation so that they feel this country belongs to them.

“They must protect and love this country forever,” she said to the media after the Pentarama X Kelab Malaysiaku Program in conjunction with the National Month Celebration 2024, held here today.

Rubaayah added that in addition to enhancing the spirit of patriotism, the program also aims to provide understanding and exposure to school students regarding the importance of maintaining peace and unity in Malaysia.

Among the activities planned for the program, which runs until September 16, are casual discussions, singing patriotic songs, and a national quiz.
