K-Drama Star Lee Joon Gi to host fan meeting in Kuala Lumpur this September

KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean actor and singer Lee Joon Gi will make his debut appearance in Malaysia with a fan meeting event at Mega Star Arena on September 22, starting at 6 p.m.

Attendees of the 2024 Lee Joon Gi Asia Tour in Kuala Lumpur can look forward to engaging interactions and thrilling performances from the popular star, known for his exceptional dance skills and impressive vocals.

Lee Joon Gi began his career as a model and gained fame with his lead role in the film The King and the Clown, followed by the romantic comedy series My Girl, which solidified his status in the industry.

Dubbed the “King of Sageuk” (King of Historical Dramas), he has starred in numerous period dramas, including Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Scholar Who Walks the Night, Arang and the Magistrate, and Iljimae.

In addition to historical dramas, Lee has featured in other K-dramas such as Arthdal Chronicles, Again My Life, and Flower of Evil alongside Moon Chae Won, as well as Lawless Lawyer with Seo Yea Ji.

He also made his Hollywood debut in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Throughout his career, Lee Joon Gi has earned multiple awards, including the Grand Bell Awards, SBS Drama Awards, and KBS Drama Awards in South Korea, and international recognition at the Hawaii International Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival, among others.

As a singer, Lee Joon Gi has released a variety of songs showcasing his diverse musical talents.
