Single motherhood has made me stronger, says Mawar Rashid

KUALA LUMPUR: “I’m doing my best and I believe I can manage,” said actress Mawar Rashid about her journey as a single mother to three children.

In the story published by Harian Metro yesterday, Mawar, 29, shared that her former husband, entrepreneur Raf Yaakob, 39, is still actively involved in raising their children together with her.

“I prefer not to comment much about what happened between Raf and me, as we have young children and he is still their father,” she explained.

Mawar married Raf on November 9, 2017, but they divorced after six years. They have three children: Raden Muhammad, 5; Raden Seri Rosabella Cinta, 3; and Raden Seri Riyanna Sayang, 1.

Mawar mentioned that she is still adjusting to single motherhood but that things have been progressing well so far.

“I believe that challenges like these offer me a chance to grow stronger,” she said.
