Anwar Chairs the 143rd Meeting of Chief Ministers and Ministers

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today chaired the 143rd Meeting of Chief Ministers and Ministers in Putrajaya.

According to Bernama, Anwar said in a Facebook post that the meeting was held to discuss several issues involving cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments, particularly concerning economic development and the welfare of the people.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, as well as Cabinet ministers and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali.

Meanwhile, in a separate post, Anwar mentioned that he also received a courtesy visit from the National Council of Public Service Advisory Groups (MAK) today, led by the Director General of Public Service Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz and MAK President Mohd Afendi Ya@Zakaria, along with the MAK delegation.

“Among the key points of the meeting were to ensure that the role of AKRAB, established since 2005, continues to fulfill its responsibilities in delivering the government’s mission and objectives, particularly raising awareness about Malaysia MADANI,” he said.
