“In addition, there is also increasing concern about the spread of misleading, inaccurate, misinterpreted and teachings of Islam that deviate from true Islamic principles.
“Therefore, I would like to remind here, so that the community does not make social media a place to argue or argue and spread shameful things because this will all be the cause of division and conflict,” he said.
His Majesty said at the National Hijrah Celebration Ceremony here, today.
Also leaving was the King of Queen Agong, King Zarith Sofiah.
Sultan Ibrahim said, every Muslim must be wise to judge the validity of things whether they are true or not.
“Every Muslim needs to judge wisely what is right and what is wrong. The spread of inaccurate religious information through social media can lead to confusion, division and deviant religious practices.
“People used to learn religion by reading the book and listening to lectures in the mosque. But now people learn religion online from ‘Ustazah Facebook’ and ‘Ustazah Tiktok’,” he said.
